We wanted to create a battery system that could work with our existing award winning headlamps, and also work for our amazing existing customers. This system allows any headlamp (or any other device) that uses AAA batteries to be transformed into a fully rechargeable unit. By doing this, we like the idea that you can keep your trusty headlamp you already own and give it a boost in technology and sustainability.

EASILY RECHARGE ON THE GO:

Charge from any USB port: Power station, solar charger, computer, outlet, generator, car etc. MicroUSB charging cable included. Recharge up to 500+ times.

Charging instructions:

Connect the included USB cable to the batteries and to a USB power source. All four batteries can be charged at the same time. A red LED will illuminate opposite the micro USB port on the battery to confirm charging and will turn blue when fully charged.

ECO AND SAFE:

Why NiMH and not Lithium Ion you ask?

Our NiMH (nickel-metal-hydride) batteries are safer and less volatile than Lithium batteries. Something we think is pretty important for a product used on your noggin’.

The materials used in NiMh batteries are also less toxic than those in lithium batteries and do not contain toxic heavy metals. They are recyclable and environmentally friendly, which is a prerequisite for our Third Eye products. You can find a local recycling center in your area through Call2Recycle HERE

Why 4 Batteries?

You’re right, our headlamps and most others only use 3 AAA batteries. We’ve included an extra battery to bring along incase you run out of power, you’ve got another fully charged battery to pop in to give you a little extra lighting time. Also if you lose or damage one…it’s just nice to have an extra.
